Website Receives 1.5 Million Visitors During September
Campaign
(Laguna Hills, CA - September 26, 2001) ExtremeDays, the
hip teen movie being released this Friday, September 28 by Providence
Entertainment to theaters across the country, has received a whopping
72,600 daily visitors to its website www.extremedays.com
as the release of the motion picture approaches.
Scott A. Shuford, Vice President of Big Man Creative, an award-winning
creative services and development firm said, "This is very exciting.
There are few independent entertainment sites which receive this kind
of traffic in advance of release of the actual project. We expect traffic
to surge even further after this Fridays theatrical release."
Richard J. Schirmer, Vice President of Marketing for Providence
Entertainment commented, "We work diligently to ensure that the
website was not only cool, but is also continually refreshed with new
contests, new trailers and innovative opportunities such as our AMC
MovieWatcher promotion (which gives those registering a coupon free
popcorn when they go to see ExtremeDays at any AMC theater). We are
linked to major sites that target our core audience segment -- spanning
the extreme sports genre (e.g. www.bluetorch.com,
www.Alloy.com ) to
the teen genre (e.g. www.goosehead.com),
and other niche markets."
Garlin Smith, President of Extreme Media Strategies and consultant
on the project says, "In our efforts to build awareness levels
for the film, we have not only placed strategic ad buys, but actually
integrated ExtremeDays into their various content areas, creating a
much more effective and unique overall campaign. In addition, Providence
formed strategic alliances with other companies to effectively target
the ExtremeDays market segment. I think these figures validate
our efforts."
Extreme Days is being released in excess of 350 screens across the country.
